Just been to see the new Harry Potter Flick, and might I say they have made an excellent job out of in my opinion the Filler book of the series, although, if you are looking JK, the book was an ingenious creation and a stand alone masterpeice in itself.
HArry is a lot older and mature, bound to happen as the years pass!, And as old Voldermort is back the whole feeling is a lot darker, which is put across so so well.
The music at the beginning gripped me from the start and the time flew by without one of the children needing the loo, although downing enough fluids to launch the Black Pearl.
I won't spoil the plot for you (as I did on my Cap'n Jack blog - well for the one person who reads this drivvle anyhow), but do go to see it, as wanting to see or read the next part it will leave you.
I will say though, the saying "everybody has a double" is so very true, as Bellatrix lestrange and I look absolutely identical on a Friday night after a week of listening to my childrens nonsense, and my children, little darlings that they are, say I most definately sound like her too. Yippee, all thats left was for Husband to say that yes , at times I am certainly as unhinged, well hat trick to me, Cindy Crawford would have possibly been better (maybe even Joan), but hey who wants to be boring, they just better hope I dont suddenly start brandishing me wand!.
I am unsure about wanting to read the last book as then it will be over, and along with it a complete chapter of my personal life as Harry and I have been through an awful lot and he has been like a crutch to me when times have been so so bad, so I guess re reads will be the way forward after book 7.
All good things must come to and end, and I so understand why, and truly feel that we have been doubly blessed with this wonderous creation and feel entirely priveledged to have been allowed to enjoy this with my family.
The Shanmeister may be the king of the demons but JK, you are most certainly hero of Hogwarts.
in the words of Dr Who himself - GO JK!!!!!
